who was vladislav roslyakov?
vladislav igorevich roslyakov was the perpetrator of the kerch polytechnic college massacre. this took place on october 17th, 2018, in kerch, crimea.roslyakov managed a successful school shooting/bombing that took 20 lives and injured 70. the massacre was deemed the most deadliest school attack since the 2004 beslan school siege.

roslyakov grew up in an home that poorly expressed love and affection.when roslyakov was 10 years old, his parents split due to an injury his father sustained causing abuse towards roslyakov, his mother, and other relatives. roslyakov was not given much freedom until the age of 16. not being able to go to cinemas, play video games, or have a computer.roslyakov’s mother often limited roslyakov’s social interactions. this resulted in him having only a few friends. he was often searched when coming home from school, likey due to him beginning to carry a knife boyett to school. his interest in knives and other weapons only began to grow as his journey into college and adulthood continued.

roslyakov was not very popular in school. many students thought he was different for not coming from a wealthy background and often ridiculed him for this. this caused him to become very antisocial and hate school. a friend of roslyakov said that he would often comment on getting “revenge” on his classmates and teachers.
